Most of us had been working ourselves for how long we know but yet one question keeps crossing my mind. And yes, that’s the title of this post, are you ready for retirement? It seems like most of us had been working for many years or if not we’ve been doing or managing our business for years but are you prepared for the time when you can no longer work or manage your business? How much have you invested or saved to cover for your later year? This has been dwelling in my mind for some time now and I’m not just thinking about it. I want to do something about it before it’s too late. I’ve been researching and reading about Retirement Readiness and hopefully I’ll be prepared when that time comes. It’s not that I’m planning to retire soon but it’s a plus if one is ready when that time comes. I myself is not yet ready to be retired but if given a chance, I’d prefer to be retired at 50. It’s not that I don’t like my job, I do, but I also want to enjoy the things in life that I haven’t enjoyed so far.
